telemetry mod
Sends the analytics events that Claude Code's built-in mods record. Refuses calls from mods you install.

| Name in /plugin | cc-plugin-telemetry |
| Source | anthropics/claude-code · mods/telemetry |
What it does
- Adds $.telemetry.log and $.telemetry.mark so built-in plugins can record events. Events are sent in batches.
- Calls from a plugin a person installed, or one an administrator listed, are refused.
- Sends nothing wherever Claude Code's analytics are turned off.
- Its source is also the reference example of a mod that adds methods other mods can call, and ships their types.
How to get it
- Built in wherever Claude Code's analytics are on.
- Disable cc-plugin-telemetry in /plugin, or turn analytics off (for example with DISABLE_TELEMETRY).
What you can learn from its code
If you are writing your own mod, this one is a good example of:
- Adding a new namespace to $
- Shipping type contracts for other mods
