What it does
- Shows each background task's name, elapsed time, current step and a progress bar.
- Progress comes from lines the task prints, such as ::progress::50%. Tasks that print nothing show name and time only.
Good to know
- Progress is self-reported by the task, not verified.
- It adds a short system prompt (about 140 tokens) and changes background subagent prompts, so it is not display-only.
- Foreground commands are not tracked.
How to get it
- Clone genail/genail-mods and load the task-progress folder.
